Antique Sears Water Witch Accessory - The Nymph Washing Machine.
"The Nymph" was an accessory for the 1929 Sears "Water Witch" washing machine.  Which sold for about .  It was an agitator that was added to the inside to wash smaller loads of clothes.  Since the machine was so expensive purchasing accessories was pretty uncommon.  I've only saw two other ones online!  It measures about 11.25" in diameter x 11.5" tall.  It weighs 6 lb 14 oz.  The agitator comes out - it will not work on it's own it has to be placed into the machine so this piece is just for display.
It is metal with green enamel paint and a beige decal on the front that has the name "The Nymph" and states it is for "Extra Mid-Week Washings" as well as the type of articles that can be washed as well as patented Feb 1929.
The interior is plated with a high shine metal and has a center agitator. There are handles on the lid and sides that are riveted to the base. The bottom has a hole that corresponds to the interior agitator. The washer is in good shape for its age, there is wear of the paint on the edges and scrapes to the sides.
