Overview
Player had been cleaned and adjusted to proper operation set by service manual, player condition is good after several years since his manufacture tape cover had some finish deterioration on it. (please see photos), AA Battery adapter is in great condition without oxide or damage on it.
player keys are on great shape, Led lights works perfectly, no lose screws or faulty components.
PLEASE READ!:
all player funtions, Playback, fast forward and rewind, Tape selector, Dolby and DBB, works perfectly
unfortunately for unknown reasons
Autoreverse and playback auto-stop won't work
, so player only works on forward direction and you had to stop player manually when tape ends.
Fast Forward and Rewind Auto-stop works without any problem
still can't find an explanation to this issue on playback mode so guess this issue goes beyond my experience and leave player as is hope found someone that know how to fix this issue.
but after that player works and sound amazing.
Service work
Mechanism pulley's cleaned and re-lubed
Mechanism Reels cleaned and lubed
Reel flywheel bushing re-lubed
Brand new Belt source from (Fix your audio)
Brand new Pinch Rollers (Imported)
Speed adjusted with 3000hz Test tape
Azimuth adjusted with 8khz Test tape
Re-solded internal battery supply tabs connection
Player had been tested approx around 5 to 6 hours of intermitent playback in order to check normal operation,
AA Battery adapter had been used for this testing unfortunatelly couldn't test phisically rechargeable gumstick battery operation or Sony 1.5V power adapter but according to my tools measurings should work perfectly if you planning to use it.
