I have used the welder extensively with great results. It is a very well made machine with easy-to-understand controls and directions. What little assembly was necessary was simple and easy to understand from the included video.
TIG welding requires some experience and possibly one professional instruction. This is a very high quality piece of equipment, but TIG welding is a skill that takes time and experience to master.

this has been a great welder for the price point, I did add the foot control, the only problem I have is several times I needed to use it somewhere that didn't have a 220 connection

As a welder by trade for many years (away from TIG welding for about 20 years though) I found this machine to be everything I needed for the light fabrication I'm doing now. Didn't take long to get the hang of it again. I highly recommend this machine for the hobbyist or small business/metal artist.

This fine piece of equipment gives you the widest possible ranges for almost any type of welding. For thicker, heavier welding requirements this welder supplies the output needed to do the job well, but can also accommodate finer more delicate pieces such as decorative ornamentation. It is a pleasure to use and can make even a so-so operator look great.
